Installation and Maintenance

Regular anode replacement is the cheapest way to avoid costly repairs. Check the anode condition every season or after 100 hours of operation. If the zinc is worn more than 50%, it must be replaced immediately. Before installation, ensure the thread is clean and undamaged. Do not lubricate the anode with conductive greases, as this can disrupt the galvanic process. After replacement, ensure the element is tightly secured to ensure perfect electrical contact with the engine housing.
